2023: Umahi congratulates Tinubu, assure him of his support to win president

Engr. David Nweze Umahi, Governor of Ebonyi state in Southeast Nigeria, Thursday, June 9, 2022, congratulated Bola Ahmed Tinubu the winner of the All progressive Congress just concluded presidential primary election in Abuja.

In a statement signed by the Governor, he encourage the leaders and members of the APC  to work together to support the party for a successful journey in the 2023 election. 

Umahi who was among the contestant in the primary assured that the Ebonyi state chapter of APC will work for the victory of the party’s flag bearer in the general election.

The statement read in parts,” I Engr. David Nweze Umahi, the Governor of Ebonyi State, heartily congratulates the presidential candidate of our party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on your overwhelming victory in the just concluded presidential primary election.

“Let me assure you that the Ebonyi State chapter of All Progressives Congress, and I will support you, and all the candidates of our party in the 2023 general elections. 

“Let me equally commend all aspirants and the APC National Working Committee for the smooth conduct of a fair presidential primary election. 

“I encourage the leaders and members of our party to come together to support the party for a victorious journey in the 2023 election”.
