According to a statement released by the jubilee’s organisers, the six- day jubilee themed ‘Indigenous for Global’ will hold in Lagos from November 6-12, 2022.
” Last time, for our 10th time anniversary, we were joined by over film suckers from each over the world both physically and nearly to celebrate a decade of showcasing the stylish of African flicks and filmmakers; we explored great sessions around our theme Africans for Africa … erecting global islands, “the statement reads.
“This time in its 11th season, with the theme‘ Indigenous for Global’, AFRIFF will explore our indigenous content and the crucial constituents needed to take it to a global followership. With the impregnable arrival of the big streaming services, it’s imperative to designedly amp the‘ Indigenous for Global Docket’ to establish how original stories can reach and connect with global audience.”
The jubilee’s 10th-anniversary edition was saluted for multiple achievements including the hosting of Amazon Prime Video in an interactive session with filmmakers that saw licensing deals of short, point and amped flicks.
