the US House of Representatives on Thursday appropriated a plan to ban F-16 fighter jets sales to Turkey this creates a new obstacle in front of President Joe Biden’s plan to sell F16 fighter jets to Turkey.

The House of Representatives approved a proposal, which was presented by Frank Pallone and Chris Pappas, the Democratic members of the House of Representatives, as an amendment to the annual national defense budget law of the United States,

Frank and Chris’ proposal was approved with 244 votes in favor and 179 against.

earlier; Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan declared that the United States will sell F-16 fighter planes to Turkey in exchange for the country’s withdrawal from the F-35 fighter jet production program. Ankara withdrew from this program after buying missile defense systems from Russia.
