The association of friends club (UP ASSO) recently converged to celebrate it’s 45th anniversary and presidential induction of new members, the event which ran through the week provided neighborhoods with solutions of food and healthcare.
Town hall meetings were not left out as the association engaged speakers and wave makers to discuss peace and harmony for our dear nation, among the speakers were Mr. Gbenga Omotoso ( commissioner for information and strategy Lagos state) who gave the road map of Lagos state, an academist, accountant, banker, a renounced stock broker and taxation consultant.
Dr. Abayomi Oyetunji Majekodunmi graced the occasion with his paper titled “Omolúàbi”.The rest which could not be swept under the carpet was the opening speech by the president of the association Otunba Kole Olatunji and the Patron of the association Sir, Dr., Kensington Adebunkola Adebutu welcoming members, friends and families to this year’s celebration, nothing was short as members took time to enjoy themselves and welcomed new members.
The event was full of merry makings as other invitees, delicates from other clubs and government bodies entertained themselves with Dr. Adewale Ayuba’s fine musical performance.
