Organized A 3 Day Training For Master Craftsmen.

It’s was a rare opportunity to some selected individuals across the 16 local government areas and the two (2) LCDAs in the state among the beneficiaries who as acquired training of master craftsmen organized by Taraba State Universal Basic Education (BESDA) In collaboration with Superernova Global Investment Limited Sustainability in post basic literacy skills acquisition programme.
The programme started immediately after the opening prayers by both faith, followed by the welcome address of the Craftsmen – In – Chief of the Occasion, Barrister Sani Marke
He stress that, the programme is aimed in sustaining and success recorded in the BESDA that brought thousands out of School Children to formal School System.
Also, he stressed further that BESDA Sustainability programme is a master stroke that will go a long way in correcting the lapses not only in our schools enrollment deficits but also in the studies and schooling for development of the society.
The slogan according to the Craftsman In Chief is to ” CATCH THEM YOUNG” the youngster knowledge and mastery of various trades and vocations in later years becomes master Craftsmen and they will contribute their quoters to the development of there communities and the society at large.
The benefits of skill acquisition in post basic education cannot be over emphasized. He thank the executive Chairman and his management team of the Taraba Universal Basic Education BESDA (TSUBEB) for giving the programme well deserved attention and the necessary support and backing required for its success, Also for giving Supernova Global Investment LTD the opportunity to implement the world bank assisted programme of BESDA’s post basic literacy sustainability programme in Taraba State.
Margi also assured the management team represented the total commitments when necessary experience and expertise in empowerment in skills acquisition and entrepreneurship development to bring to bear in the implementation of the programme.
Some of the skills listed as follows: Tailoring, Bead Making, Soap/ Detergent /pomade making, Telephone Repairs, Barbing and Painting.
Barrister Sani also Congratulates all the 112 Master Craftsmen that are diligently selected across the State and who are the beneficiaries of the training, and who will ultimately train students in various trades and skills of BESDA Post Literacy Skills Acquisition Programme in all the 93 Centres access Taraba State that other States will follow suit. he added.
