Hon. Comrd Chinedu Ogah, member representing Ikwo/ Ezza South federal constituency in the national assembly has embarked on free distribution of premium motor spirit otherwise known as fuel to Okada riders and Motorists in his constituency.
The free fuel is attached with a token as part of activities lined up to mark his upcoming birthday.
About 5000 Okada riders drawn from the 31 wards that made up his constituency and some in Abakaliki metropolis have so far benefited from the gesture.
The fuel expansion took place at Nkwegu in Abakaliki, Agubia in Ikwo, and Onueke in the Ezze south local government area.
The lawmaker who also had breakfast with the Okada riders in all different centers where the fuel where distributed assured them of better representation as he returns for his second tenure.
Addressing the Okada riders, motorists, and the first-time lawmaker in the national assembly under the platform of APC commended his constituents for their support to him but pleaded with those who do not have PVCs to go it noting that it is the license for negotiations during the election in 2023.
Hon. Ogah who also commissioned some of his constituency projects in Ezza south advocated for peace, unity, and understanding among Ikwo and Ezza south people to avoid dividing their vote during the election.
“If not for that I had the right contact in Ezza I wouldn’t have been able to build this, Ezza people have supported me so much. I want to plead with you to support one of your sons Engr Ken Eze who is vying for the senatorial seat of this zone. When both of us are in the National Assembly we will put our heads together and bring more development to our people.
“We will try our best to look into the welfare of the traditional rulers, whatever we know we can do we will do it because you people are the custodians of our culture.
“By God’s grace between now and next year the major market on Ezza land must have solar light so that our women will be comfortable doing their trade.
“The only thing we ask of you is to get your PVC. All the Okada riders here if you have your PVC we will give you fuel and money.
“If there is where Ikwo and Ezza people are having problems the Traditional rulers should go and resolve it we are one.
“One thing I want to assure you people is that we will make history then I must have finished my first tenure, and anybody that will go to the National Assembly is able to achieve what I achieved in one year I will give the person 1billion.
“I want to urge our people to continue to be united we should not divide our votes, being in opposition has deprived us of so many dividends before let us not allow it to repeat. Vote for APC in the general election”. He said.
