The member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly Comrade Chinedu Ogah said his aspiration for reelection into his current position as rep member in the 2023 general election, was because of his passion to expand further economic opportunities for his people.

He said serving the people, and helping the vulnerable gives him joy.

Hon. Chinedu Ogah is the only federal lawmaker under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC in the state.

He said he believes in the democracy that truly allows people to decide whom to be their servants, the democracy that respects their wishes, provides for their welfare, and protects their common existence.

The lawmaker has sponsored several bills, motions, infrastructural developments, and most importantly human capacity building for the benefit of his constituents.

“I have rooted myself more strongly in the internal politics and the daily businesses of the National Assembly and have developed more connection, confidence, and the way power to attract more development to the good people of Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency when re-elected.

“During my first tenure in office, I stood boldly to demand justice for civil servants who were unjustly dismissed from jobs and fought gallantly to ensure that solid mineral producing communities in my Constituency received their developmental support benefits from both the government and the solid mineral exploration companies.

“Daily, I see myself as a people’s servant and just like every honest servant who occupies a position of trust, I am committed to bearing responsibility for my leadership actions by ensuring timely leadership accountability, promoting equality and diversity in the distribution of dividends of democracy, championing solutions to problems faced by my constituents, defending the cause of what my constituents believe in and respecting their fundamental human rights.
