As we are in the build-up to 2023 general election, a lots of battle has heats up and there have been various forms of speculations and permutations that have evolved different camps of various political players.
In southern Taraba Senatorial District, the most interesting and certain fact is the position of the people towards the number one seat of the senatorial district.
After series of consultations and extensive tour of the zone, it is interesting to note that the people of southern Taraba are settled with the Candidature of Hon. DAVID S.U. JIMKUTA AKA JIM-KAY.
Many would say the era of religious and ethnic politics is over as they have over 23years suffered the intrigues of the PDP.
Before now there were misconceptions in some quarters within Taraba as a state particularly the southern zone that the All Progressive Congress, APC, was an Islamic party and this perception has given rise to a lot of incompetent politicians who were voted into power on a religious bases.
However, these lies are uncovered and the people of southern Taraba and Taraba at large are wiser than before and cannot be deceived any further.
The people of southern Taraba who were and are misrepresented in the current administration of the state have lost confidence in the PDP government and are clamoring for JIMKUTA of the APC to assume the senate representing the zone as he is presumed the most detribalised and stable fellow with high level of discipline and maturity.
Just as in the case of Taraba state at large, where AljazirahNigeria conducted an extensive survey over the various candidates vying for the number one seat of the state.
This survey came to a conclusion with Chief. DAVID SABO KENTE alias DSK been the most worthy among all the contestant.
Chief Kente is considered the most populous and favorable candidate that would emerge the governorship seat without much work in the general election cause the name DSK is already a household name as the masses have already developed a high sense of sympathy towards the said candidate.
Also, many opined that even when the APC lost out during the 2019 general election on the basis religion, Chief DSK, remained consistently in the party and ensured funding of the party to remain afloat in the state. He is consequently responsible for neutralizing the religious misconception and perceptions of the people towards the party, APC and this has fetched him acceptance across the Muslim and the Christian divides.
Many are optimistic that chief DSK will win the 2023 general election if he eventually flies the flag of the APC at and after the primaries considering the fact that he is the most ideological personality who have been carrying everybody along in his dealings over the years.
