Says, insecurity in Kaduna, Nigeria will be things of the past.
Kaduna state governorship aspirant under the platform of People’s Democratic Party ( PDP), Dr. Andrew Duya has condemned the killings and attacked on innocent people in Zango Kataf local government area of Kaduna state.
The recent attacked on the resident of kurmin Masara general area of Zango Kataf ocalGA, leads to the killing of eleven persons, several others sustain various degree of injures with gunshot inflicted on them. and over thirty houses and properties were burnt during attack in the community.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by his Director of support group, Timothy Douglas, said the incessant killings and Kidnapping of people for ransom has posed negative impact on the lives of people, farmers and locals who cannot longer stay in their communities for the fear of unknown in the area.
Dr. Duya stated these when he paid a condolences visit and sympathize with the victims of the attacked. Said, many citizens have left their homes, families and become Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in their own community without good shelters and food due to high level of Insecurity in the area.
He added that the Insecurity challenges confronting the Kaduna State and Nigeria at large will become things of the past as measure will be put in place to end banditry, Kidnapping and other criminality in general. Noting that there will not be meaningful community, state and Nation to develop where there are security challenges in the area.
The governorship aspirant expressed worried over the series of attacks on some of the communities across the state. he also prayed for the repose of all those killed and their families and wished quick recovery for injured victims and those sustain gunshots.
He appealed to NGOs, Philanthropists and civil society to support by providing foods, shelters and medicals to the victims of attacks as that will go a long way to cushion some of the pains they are passing through. urged the traditional rulers, leaders and communities to support security agencies in winning against insecurity in the state.
While calling on government at all levels to intensify efforts with the agencies to end the lingering insecurity challenges bedeviling the nation. Adding that new security approach to should be implore to restore peace lasting in the state.
