The All Progressives Congress in Ebonyi State has won the 13 local government area chairmanship and 171 ward councillorship elections in the Saturday council elections.
Josy Eze chairman of the State Independent Electoral Commission, EBSIEC, announced the result on Sunday in Abakaliki morning.
He told journalists that the election was credible, free and fair as all contestants were given equal chances to participate in the election.

Meanwhile, correspondent observed voter apathy in the election even as market women were seen transacting their business at kpirikpiri market while the election was going on in various polling units.
