Rasheedat Ajibade, 22, of the Super Falcons’ will be making her entrance at the Women’s World Cup next year,

Falcons, nine-time champions flanked Cameroon 1-0 in the quarter-final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Morocco, and also defeated Botswana 2-1, on Thursday.

Ajibade’s goal rose her to third in the competition and she was awarded the MVP of the match

Falcons focused as they target their 10th WAFCON title in Morocco.

 “We give glory to God almighty for the victory. One down, two more to goal,” Ajibade said in her post-match conference interview.

 “To win the tournament, we have to do it as a team. It’s a very tough tournament but we are going to do our best to cross this hurdle. We want to compete with every team we are in for it.” Ajibade continued.
