My sources have just told Nationalglint has it that Former President Goodluck Jonathan will officially declare for the Presidency before the end of the week.
Nationalglint sources have it that the discussions between him and the political heavyweights have been finalised and also, the former president Jonathan gave conditions to the Aso Rock Cabal which wants him to succeed Buhari. To top the most important conditions is that Buhari has to personally give his backing to his candidacy if he decamps to APC.
As it seems, it is likely the conditions have been weighed and agreed on.
If Goodluck Ebele Jonathan gets into the race, it is more than likely that he will win the election in 2023 because of his Pan-Nigerian acceptability and him being the choice of the Northern establishment, which believe he is one whom they can trust with power and who can also begin the process of resetting Nigeria back on track.
It would be interesting to see how the All Progressive Congress will swallow their vomit and begin to sell him to Nigeria as the saviour the country needs, after demonising him and his administration for years.
In any case, as I always end my political write-ups. I will also wish Nigerians that interesting days ahead.
