Lions Club Donates Computers and Books to Schools.

Ikeja New Era Lions Club and Ikeja City Lions have recently offered sets of books and desktop computers to as secondary school in Ojodu area of lagos state – Babs Fafunwa Millennium Senior Grammar School,

Lion Bamidele Joseph Babatunde, president of Ikeja New Era Lions Club at the event, he said the clubs chose to the school because it had no functional computers and to improve the reading culture among the students of the school.

He emphasized on the need for students to absorb the reading culture and expressed the commitment of the clubs to help revive the culture in students in the Ikeja area of the state.

He assured the clubs would donate another sets of desktop computers and books to the students, following disclosures that the clubs would organize a competition for the students and give prizes to the best three in computer education in the school.

She urged the students to take advantage of the computers and improve their computer skills.

The principal of Babs Fafunwa Millennium Senior Grammar School, Mrs. B. A. Ayodele, thanked the clubs and promised to ensure that the items were put to good use and seek God’s blessings.
