The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has initiated the airlifting of election materials for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in preparation for the Edo State governorship election scheduled for September 21.
The NAF has commenced airlifting materials to ensure their timely delivery for the upcoming election.
Kabiru Ali, NAF Deputy Director of Public Relations, emphasized that this operation reflects the Air Force’s dedication to its constitutional duty of providing Military Aid to Civil Authority following a commitment made by Hasan Abubakar, Chief of Air Staff, to INEC Chair Mahmood Yakubu.
This effort underscores the NAF’s role in supporting the electoral process and ensuring a smooth and secure election in Edo State.
