“Only Anayo Edwin Can Win 2023 Ebonyi Guber For PDP” – party chieftain

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi state, Chief Ajah Crown Chukwuma, says the member Representing Ezza North and Ishielu Federal Constituency Of Ebonyi State in the House of Representatives, Hon. Anayo Edwin is the best candidate for the 2023 Ebonyi gubernatorial ticket of the party if PDP wants to win the election in Ebonyi State.

Chief Ajah, a founding member of the PDP who also doubled as the pioneer scribe of the party spoke to journalists in Abakaliki on Friday, 15th April 2022.

He commended the guber hopeful for his human-oriented programs, especially youth employment, and urged Ebonyi youths to support his ambition to rescue the Ebonyi state from collapse.

According to him, Hon. Anatex is the best to fly the Ebonyi 2023 Guber ticket of the PDP if the party wants to win the election and take over Ebonyi State. He has the capacity and coming from the majority his chances are very bright. The best thing for the PDP to do is to concede the ticket of the party to him.

“Hon. Anatex is humble to a fault. He respects the high and the low, very committed to human development as we have seen in his efforts as a lawmaker”.

Chief Crown Aja stressed that Anayo Edwin is from Ezza Ezekuna which constitutes the undisputed majority tribe in Ebonyi State. Ajah added that Ezza people are occupants of every part of the state. He also stated that going by the recent communal clashes between the Izzi people and Ikwo people, it will be difficult for an Ikwo man who has twenty wards to vote for anybody from Izzi.

Ajah warned that the people of Ebonyi South are poised to invest their votes reasonably in 2023 and so expect the PDP to go beyond emotions to embrace the prevalent realities of Ebonyi political environment and pick a sellable candidate like Anayo Edwin ahead of the elections.

The party chieftain called for calm ahead of the primary election insisting that the party should ensure a transparent exercise noting that it is only a transparent primary election that will guarantee the party the much needed unity of purpose necessary to win the elections.

Hon. Anayo Edwin one of the governorship candidates under the People’s Democratic Party had declared for the race with 8 point agenda bordering on human empowerment, security, Education, and health among others.
