A fire incident that took place on the second floor of a building on campus in Quezon, Philippines has supposedly caused several casualties and deaths,
The fire, which broke out at around 05:00 local time, eight people died, including six children and three people were injured.
The victims were trapped inside their homes as “the fire spread quickly”, Bichayda said.
Their ages are not yet known, but he said six were minors.
“The houses consist of light materials. When the fire broke out, people were shocked,” Bichayda said.
“Our station was just nearby but they weren’t able to call us immediately.”

Senior Fire Officer Greg Bichayda confirmed that fire fighters struggled for 2 hours to control the fire.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, but one thing remains sure… let us pray for the souls of the departed to rest and the injured to find peace.
