The Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, has ordered the investigation of Habib Okikiola better known as Portable.
The artiste made a revelation in a recent video where he boasting to be the creator of the notorious one million boys, and Ajah boys.
“Have you heard of Ajah boys, one million boys? I established them.” Portable said
He added that socialites Samlarry Eletu and Abu Abel knew him back in the day.
The Lagos gangs one million boys, and Ajah boys popular for crimes such as murders, abductions and robbery.
The police at different times arrested a number of members, while some were declared wanted.
A statement on Monday by Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi conveyed Baba’s directive.
“The IGP has ordered CP Lagos to investigate the indicting statement and take necessary legal action.
“This directive is premised on the continuous effort to fish out pillars and sponsors of cult groups in order to decimate their activities”, it reads.
The aftermath of this post brought the artiste to reality, portable came out on his Instagram with a similar video contradicting his previous video,
In the video he claimed his life was being threatened, he also added declined working for apc, in his words he said “This has come to an end that I have to voice out… please everyone I wana let you know that I didn’t meant to campaign for APC it was a show they told that am going to before I saw myself in APC office and as a man no need to worry I gats to do the job since it involved money. And what I meant by 1million boys is meant 1million followers. People are threatening my life ooo you should all look into this”
Most relevantly he denied establishing the cult groups one million boys trading his words as an emphasis to say one million followers
