Following the Press Release by the Taraba State Governor, ARC Darius Dickson Ishaku on the expiring time of the local government chairmen and Councils stay in office. a new line of action has been announced to the dissolution of local government council’s in the state.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Governor, Mr.Iliya Bekyu Akweh has said the dissolution followed the expiration of the tenure of the councils on 3/7/2022. Pursuant to this development, local government council’s chairmen have been directed to hand over the affairs of their respective councils to the Head of Local government administration pending the return of the Executive Governor to the state.
