Saratoga Hotel’s Death Toll Rises to 45

The landmark Saratoga Hotel in Havana was badly damaged in an explosion on the 6th. Preliminary investigations revealed that the cause of the explosion was a leak from a liquefied gas tanker outside the hotel. The explosion caused a large number of casualties, including four minors, a pregnant woman and a foreign citizen.
