Sen. Kenneth Eze the Chairman Senate Committee on Information and National Orientation and Senator representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial Zone, has charged Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN), Ebonyi State Chapter to continue to support and pray for the success of Governor Francis Nwifuru and his administration.
The senator stated this when the leadership and members of Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, Ebonyi state chapter who paid him a Christmas Homage in his country home in Amagu community in Ezza South LGA of Ebonyi state.
Expressing satisfaction with the performance of Governor Nwifuru, the Senator noted that those of them who began the crusade and propagation of the FON movement in Ebonyi state are proud of the uncommon and unprecedented landmark achievements of the leader of Ebonyi state.
He maintained that the Governor has put to shame prophets of pessimism of the capacity of the Governor to progressively, profitably and prosperously stir the ship of leadership of Ebonyi state to advance the gains of self determination as a people and rapid development in human capital and infrastructure across the state.
” The peace we’re witnessing across the state today is as a result of his pragmatic sincere moves and commitment to return peace to all parts of the state.
“With the sincere prayers and supports of the men and women of God, Governor Nwifuru would continue to record greater successes and more giant stride achievements in his determined efforts to concretize his people Charter of Needs blueprint in uplifting Ebonyi people and taking the state to another level.
Senator Eze who is also the vice chairman Senate Committee on Water Resources, commended the CAN leadership led by Rev Stan Nwokolo for their consistency in partnering with successive administrations to actualize the dreams of the founding fathers of the state.
He said he was ready to work with CAN to reorient Ebonyi youths to shun all forms of social vices to be better positioned to contribute their quota in the leadership and development of the state.
He thanked the CAN leadership for their visit, prayers and supports, and assured them of his continued supports in effective propagation of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
