The management of the Taraba state university on Thursday in an announcement has banned lecturers from selling out handbooks and textbooks to students, an act that has brought joy to the hearts of students, it was said that most students tagged it “the best sallah gift ever”
The management further said that any lecturer caught going against the ban in addition to collection of unauthorized dues would have to face the dire consequences
The announcement signed by Yakubu D Fwa, Deputy Registrar, Academics, was announced through the office of the Scholl registrar.
The authorities have been urged to be at full alert to avoid stubborn lecturers as some of them would still go ahead to secretly force their handouts or textbooks on the students
