Super Eagles Secure Narrow 1-0 Win Over Libya in AFCON 2025 Qualifier
On Friday, the Super Eagles of Nigeria clinched a critical 1-0 victory over Libya in a tense AFCON 2025 qualifier, with substitute Fisayo Dele-Bashiru netting a decisive late goal in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. The match remained goalless until the 86th minute when Dele-Bashiru, who came on as a substitute, struck to secure the three points, reigniting Nigeria’s qualification hopes.
