By: Ezekiel Zik Kuni
Speaker of Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Prof.) Joseph Albasu Kunini, has commiserated with the Ndola Chiefdom and Ndola people in Kurmi local government area on the death of their paramount ruler, Kum Ndola, His Royal Highness, Mr. Enoch Tanko Tabena.
The deceased was appointed by the Executive Governor of the Taraba State, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku, in July 2018 and his short reign recorded tremendous achievements in his domain in particular and Kurmi local government area generally.
Therefore, the Speaker described the death of the Ndola monarch as a colossal loss not only to his subjects, but the entire State, since his wise counseling and wisdom would be greatly missed.
According to him, “death is an inevitable need to every mortal; therefore our earnest prayer is that Almighty God, in His infinite goodness and mercy, should grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest.
“May God also grant the Ndola Traditional Council, the Taraba State Council of Chiefs and the State the fortitude to bear the great loss.”
