Dr. Jerome Nyameh was born in Zing on the 30th September 1974 to the family of late Paa Ferdinand Patrick Nyameh (of Kakulu village in Zing LGA) and Mama Patricia Ferdinand Patrick Nyameh ( of Yawai Kona, Jalingo LGA) .

Jerome holds a PhD, Master and Bachelor of Science Degrees in Business Administration and Management from Tarlac State University Philippines and the then Federal University of Technology Yola now Modibbo Adama University Yola.

2. His field of endeavor;
   He is a Teacher by calling; a social entrepreneur by profession and a community development enthusiast.
3. His Public service in Government:
   Dr Jerome has served in the Government of Taraba State in various capacities that includes:

i. Assistant Chief Administration officer of the Office of the Head of Service 1996-2013

ii. Senior Lecturer promoted to Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship. Taraba State University Jalingo.2012-2021

4. Positions of Responsibilities Held;
   Dr Jerome has held the following positions of responsibilities;

i. Director Entrepreneurship Training and Consultancy services. Taraba State University Jalingo. 2015- 2021(Till date)

ii. Member Taraba State University Governing Council (Representing Congregation 2016-2020)

iii. Member Taraba State University Governing Council (Representing University senate 2021-Till date)

iv. Head of Department, Business Administration. Taraba State University Jalingo July 2021-Till Date

v.External Examiner Department of Business Administration, Kaduna State Polytechnic, Kaduna State

5. Developing Taraba State University Jalingo IGR Base;
   i. As a Director of the University Consultancy services, Dr Jerome Nyameh initiated and established the following Ventures to boast the IGR base of the University;

ii. Taraba State University Press and Entrepreneurship services LTD (now with Annual turnover of N150,000,000.0)

iii. Taraba State University Bakery and confectionary LTD

iv. Built and equipped Cold room and store in the Mini Campus
Built a food stuff shop

6. Training in Entrepreneurship;
   Innovatively, Dr Jerome Nyameh introduced and mounted practical entrepreneurship skills for all 300 level students of TSU every academic session to prepare them for future Self-employment/ reliance activities.
   Offered Entrepreneurial Consultancy for Youth and Women empowerment to the State Government, Christian and Muslim Groups and other Community bodies.
7. Personal Community Development Platform;
   Dr Jerome Nyameh’s passion for human welfare and development prompted him to established the FP-Nyameh Foundation in 2006 and was incorporated by CAC in 2009.

So far over 5000 lives have touched by the activities and programmes of the foundation. The beneficiaries include widows, orphans and the vulnerable children of society.

Over 1000 people have also undergone various entrepreneurship skills training mounted by the Foundation

Still on community welfare the Foundation partnered with its newly founded subsidiary, the Joyce Jerome Nyameh Memorial Maternity and Clinic to established a community Health Centre in Zing. Services and drugs are subsidized by 20% for all patients

8. His Personal Entrepreneurial Activities;
   Dr Nyameh is a man who work the talk. He has the following ventures in which he practicalized his entrepreneurial acumen and skills;

Speaker in international seminar in youth empowerment in Malaysia and Philippines
His research interest is in “Youth entrepreneurship and community development empowerment initiatives for wealth and jobs creation”.

He was married to late Joyce Jerome Nyameh. The union is blessed with five children.

POLITICS

Dr. Jerome Nyameh is a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) since 1999. He has been a card carrying member of the party since the inception of democracy and had worked with the former Governor of Taraba state, Rev Jolly Nyame. Though has never held any position in the party, but worked with every joule of his energy for the progress of the party across all levels, federal, state and local government. During those times, he was among the young agile men who always help develop strategies for PDP and helped the party to spread it coverage with rooted foundation across the state and Nigeria.

He never abandoned the party at any point whatsoever. He is still a member of the PDP and working for the development and progress of the party.
