
The southern conference of the united Methodist church or Nigeria, Lagos chapter, today held a Thanksgiving service to celebrate members and thank God for life,
The event ushered dignitaries from all works of life in a sermon delivered by Rev’d Dr. Emmanuel Adekunle Ayeni of the Baptist church.
The preacher used the occasion to call on worshippers to embrace God’s provident ways of life, he said we should be our brothers keeper, love our neighbors as ourselves and always look at God as the beginning and the end
He also took a text from the bible, Deuteronomy 26, which talked about first fruits and tithing.
Earlier on, host pastor DCM. John Komboro in his welcome address thanked the teaming members of the church and all invited guests for taking time to grace the occasion,
To him it was a ” Hallelujah” Joy , to be alive and witness the goodness of the Lord, he said it was a privilege for him to pastor a church of this magnitude.
Associate Pastor Justice Solomon in full prayers, seeked God’s intervention in the lives of his worshippers, government of Nigeria and the world at large, he prayed for healing and salvation of souls, demanding all hands on deck to make Nigeria a peaceful nation,
The event drew to a conclusion as they danced and worshiped the lord.
In attendance were Barrister Genesis Bandodo, Student Pastor Mercy John, Elder Johnathan Saul among others.
