
in keeping up with the 45th anniversary celebration of the Association of Friends Club (UP ASSO) Maryland Ikeja lagos state.21st of November 2023 took a turn of neighborhood eye check.
The association club house was full in capacity with people who wants their eyes checked and treated, medical practitioners and members were on ground to offer assistance. Both young and old were attended to, others were offered reading glasses as others received treatment and other recommendations to solving the solutions of their eyes.
Nationalglint where on ground to see things for themselves as they interviewed Mrs. Adejumoke Soretire an estate agent, who had her eyes checked and was offered reading glasses, she thanked the gesture of the club for thinking a long way into the sight of people of the neighborhood. Mr. Christian John Okeke a security agent was also given reading glasses, commended the effort of the club wished them to continue with the good work.
The co-ordinator Vizah Angela gave an insight of the eye check as restoring the people’s eye sight, after the association noticed that Nigerians way of life is gradually taking people’s eye sight through unbalanced diet, so the need for frequent eye check becomes very important, she said the association targeted thousands of neighborhood who should attend and embrace the gesture checking their eyes through correcting and treatment adequately, members also spoke on the encouraging turn out of people towards the programme.
